Rubber Toe Guard Strip

A toe guard is essential for protecting the toe of a cricket bat from wear, tear, and moisture absorption. The rubber toe guard provides a durable layer of protection, effectively preventing moisture damage and wear from crease tapping and sliding during play.

Included:

• 1x Premium Black Rubber Toe Guard Strip (125mm x 33mm)

Instructions:

1. Ensure the toe is clean, dry, and any cracks are sealed.
2. The toe should be flat; sanding may be necessary.
3. Heat the toe guard with a heat gun or hairdryer for optimal adhesion.
4. Apply super glue to the toe's base, ensuring full coverage.
5. While the glue is wet, apply the heated toe guard, holding it down for 1 minute using an old towel for protection against heat.
6. Stand the bat upright against a wall for 3 hours to allow curing.
7. Trim excess rubber with a craft knife, ensuring both hands are kept behind the blade. (This step should be performed by an adult.)
8. Use sandpaper to smooth any sharp edges and corners.
